Samuel Lynn Royse

Samuel was beloved husband, father and brother. He served in the United States Marine Corps as Lance Corporal. Samuel worked in the restaurant business for many years as a cook for Red Lobster and Ryan’s. He was a chef in the Marine Corps and served Generals during his service. Samuel loved making handmade ships, and has been seen on the news.

Samuel is preceded in death by parents Lynden Claire Royse and Joyce Ann Yvonne Crain Hicks; brother Robert Wayne Royse; sister Ruby Mae Carden; grandfather Samuel Ralph Crain and Grandmother Callie Mae Crain.

Samuel is survived by his wife for 29 years Donna Royse; two daughters Jessica Magan Royse and Lashonda Mae Royse; two sisters Cheryl Ann Shipley and Deborah Bernice Stowe; brother Raymond Paul Royse; grandchildren Colton Michael Brock and Cameron Alexander Williams; several nieces and nephews. Several great nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 form 2- 9 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and Saturday, December 14 from 12 until time of service

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Grant Blaylock officiating

Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
