She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church.
During her early years of work, she was employed by
Cavalier Corporation. Later Louise taught kindergarten
at Brainerd United Methodist Church and was a teachers
aide at the Woodmoore Elementary School.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years,
Thomas Alexander Gillespie, Jr. Louise is survived by her
daughter, Heather Gillespie of Chattanooga; son, Thomas
A. Gillespie, III, of Chattanooga; grandson, Joseph Patrick
Gillespie of Chattanooga.

A visitation will be held today from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at
North Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday,
May 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National
Cemetery with Rev. Terri Lowe officiating.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga team,
Janice, Jackie, Amanda and Dr. Terry Melvin.
