Mrs. Shirley J. Creasman

Mrs. Shirley J. Creasman, 83, passed away on July 10, 2026. Shirley was a native of Chattanooga, born on September 11, 1942 to the late Tom and Katherine McKee. She retired from Parkridge Hospital with 34 years of service. Shirley loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved dogs and rescued many over the years. She enjoyed people and that spilled over into her being the yard sale queen. She and her 3 daughters did yard sales together and she and Carolyn even had matching yard sale t-shirts.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Robert Creasman; son, Robert Leon Creasman; and siblings, Lucille Guffey, Laverne McKee, Billy McKee, Leon McKee, and Junior Mckee.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Carolyn Gordy (Daryl), Barbara Asbury (Bobby) and Edna Moore (Bill); grandchildren, Christina Worley (Jerry), Forrest Asbury (Jessica), Hayle Smith (Tanner), Matthew Hankins (Mckenzie), and Adrian Baxter (Katie); great grandchildren, Brooke Worley (Josh), Elijah Hankins, Tucker Hankins, Ollie Baxter, Owen Baxter, Breelynn Asbury, and Hunter Asbury; and sister, Geraldine Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel-Hixson. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Bill Moore officiating. Interment will take place in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
