Skip Shook

Skip was born near Pittsburgh, PA on September 19, 1945. He embodied the fruits of the Spirit and touched countless lives. His actions demonstrated his faith and devotion to Christ. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved to travel and was a devoted husband, father, Pappy, friend, coach and mentor. He took great pleasure in molding young lives through the game of baseball.

Skip was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Amy.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna; three sons Greg (Angie), Gary, and Jeremy (Tiffany); six grandchildren Gracen, Jamesen, Keaten, Zachary, Jordan and Skylar.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 27th at 3:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Hixson, TN with Denny Patrick officiating

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26th 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM and Sunday, August 27th 1:00 PM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, Skip and his family ask, if you are able, to donate blood to Blood Assurance or monetary donations to The Kidney Foundation - Chattanooga.
