Spencer and I were Local 43 apprentices together.  We also worked together at J. W. Brooks many years ago. He was a good friend and working companion.

From the first time I met Spencer, he welcomed me into the family. He always could make me smile.
He was a loving husband, brother-in-law to Willie, my husband's mother,  who he cared about dearly. We have good memories of Spencer. He will be very much missed. His family was his most cherished possession and loved them dearly. 

I worked with Spencer for several years.  He was a good friend and an excellent pipefitter.  He was a man who stood by his word and always tried to do the right thing.  We retired the same year, though a car accident prompted my retirement.  I miss Spencer as one of my fondest working buddies and have talked about him often throughout the years to my family.

He's left a great legacy in his family.  I've worked with one of his sons (Spencer Jr) and son-in-laws (Rick).  They surely made Spencer proud.  I will be praying for all the family and am deeply sorry for your loss.

Spencer was a great apprenticeship teacher, a great mechanic and above all a great friend Rest in Peace Brother.

Spencer was my first Plumbing teacher out of Local 43. So sorry for your loss. He was a great man!

Very sadden to hear of Spencer’s passing. I worked under him over thirty years ago as an apprentice. He was more then a teacher. He tougher me to have pride in my work, to respect others and instilled in me work ethics I’ve carry throughout my live. Peace and comfort for his family.
