Timothy Katafias, age 18, and Torri Aileen Katafias, age 16 died on Thursday February 10, 2011. Torri was attending Hixson High School at the time of her death. Timothy had graduated from Sale Creek High School.
Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Louise Alexander Ritchie and Bobby G. Ritchie; paternal grandfather, Nicholas Z. Katafias.
Survived by parents, Timothy Nicholas Katafias and Bobbie Jean Ritchie Katafias; sisters, Jessica Morgan Katafias and Amanda Danielle Ritchie; grandmother, Aileen Virginia Long.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 P.M. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 PM to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 12 Noon until 3 PM at the funeral home.
