I am so sorry for your loss. I met Tony in October 2018 at a local grief group for people in their 20s and 30s who have lost immediate family members (a chapter of an organization called The Dinner Party). Although our attendance in the group only overlapped for a short while, Tony's presence was very meaningful to me. We connected because he was the only other guy in the group, and he had lost his dad within months of when I lost my mom. Tony was kind, thoughtful, and humorous when speaking in group meetings and in our group texts, and he helped me feel like I belonged.

Tony will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was such a kind spirit that would regularly preach the Gospel when we needed it the most. From countless hours of coffee chats to being goofy with friends, he was himself- real and vulnerable, which is truly rare. Blessed to have known him and to call him a friend.

Tony was my brother, and he will be missed. I find peace in knowing that he truly loved Jesus despite the areas in which he struggled. We spoke weekly at a men's Bible study, where we all laid our dirt out on the table. I remember when it was his time to talk, he spoke with honesty and recognized his need for Christ's forgiveness and grace. Now he's in the presence of God, where he knows nothing but joy and eternal peace. Love you, bro, I'll see you again.

Tony took this picture of us after we had just finished Bible study.

Tony made me feel welcome when I started attending Sojourn. He was kind, humble, and gentle. When Mark started attending, they got to know each other by attending a U2 concert together. Tony was so kind and generous that he did the video footage of our wedding and took photos just because he wanted to help and serve.

We will always remember Tony for his faith in Jesus and his kindness and love for others.
