Tricia was preceded in death by her mother Joann Lutrell, her sister Carol (Carroll) Rollins, niece Jennifer Distle and her beloved grandparents who raised her, Charles and Ann Oncea.
Tricia leaves behind her loving family, her husband who took excellent care of her, Jerry Elkins. Her daughters Tosha Baker and Amanda Smith. Her precious granddaughter Jadyn Baker, and her bonus children Cody Elkins, Heather Elkins and grandson Tyler Cash. Tricia is also survived by her, sister Tammi (Carroll) Casamassa and her two nieces Courtney and Cassidy Casamassa. In addition, two very special friends, Heather Simpson and Dana Sweeten.
Tricia was a faithful member at One Accord Community Church in Red Bank, Tennessee where she served in many positions before illness came. She will be missed by the family of God at One Accord. Her faith in God through her battle with cancer was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at One Accord Community Church, Red Bank, Tennessee on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Ray Williams will officiate, and special friends will speak as well. Tricia was adamant that there was to be no weeping for her. She knew she would be in the presence of her Savior.
At Tricia’s request she asked, “no flowers please”, but donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Finally, the family would like to express their deepest thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their kind and compassionate comfort care.
