She was born December 7, 1923 to the late Samuel and Lula Mae Johnson.
Mrs. Zimmerman was a 1941 graduate of Chattanooga High School.
Her husband, David Paul Zimmerman, one brother, Morgan (Evelyn) Johnson, two sisters, Euthelia (Murray Alan) Lazarus and Sara Mae (Woodrow) Reid preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Steven Zimmerman of Costa Rica; Kathy (Denis) Walter of West Valley, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the North Chapel with Dr. Denny Whitesel officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 12-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
