When I think of Nanny I remember her warm hugs, sweet tea (unsweat for me!), dumplings, fried chicken, her sense of humor, her love for her grandchildren and great grand babies, how she enjoyed rocking my babies to sleep, and did I mention all the food? It's a wonder she ever left the kitchen! She lived a long, beautiful life and was loved by many. May we all be so fortunate to be that blessed in our lives. Her love will continue to live on through the generations who come after her through the legacy she leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this difficult time.
