Wanda was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church on Memorial Drive for over 30 years and a member of the Faith Sunday School Class.
Wanda was an accomplished seamstress, avid gardener, wonderful cook, and most importantly a loving Mother.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Ridge; mother, Eva Hoover Roberts; father, William Ward; and brother, Jimmy Ward.
Wanda is survived by her son, G. Allen Ridge; sister, Debbie Vernon; granddaughters Dana (Dustin) Brock and Jaclyn Ridge; great granddaughter, Korie Brock; great grandson, Michael Brock; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, January 10 and from Noon to 2:30 PM on Friday, January 11 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home
Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 11, at the North Chapel. Burial will be in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Bridge, Monteagle, TN, for their loving care and thoughtfulness during Wanda’s illness.
