Warren Lloyd Turl Jr.

The son of the late Warren Lloyd Turl, Sr. and Sarah Evelyn Puckett Turl, he was born on May 24, 1957 in Nashville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Spencer.

He is survived by his children, Jonathan (Annemarie) Turl of Westchester, IL, Rachel (Patrick) Lee of Murfreesboro, TN, Samantha (Casey) Wallen of Hixson, TN; their mother, Theresa (Karl Reddick) of Hixson, TN; grandchildren Gabriella Turl Gravitt and William Turl of Hixson, TN; sister, Mary (Buddy) Duncan of Woodbury, TN; brother-in-law, Marshall Spencer, of Centerville, TN; and a several nieces and nephews.

A graduate of John Overton High School in Nashville, he played for Ronnie Carter as a member of the Bobcat football team. He then went on to study at Middle Tennessee State University and enjoyed a career spanning multiple industries, including home appliances, surveying, and renovation.

He was a past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge No. 91. When not found there, he was surrounded by friends at Fanatic’s, Bud’s, or The Brew & Cue, rooting for the Vanderbilt Commodores or the Green Bay Packers.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
