Waynette was born on August 7, 1957 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Wayne and Illa Coy. She married Archie Weeks on June 6, 1981 and soon after moved to Chattanooga, TN where they raised their family. In 2007, Archie and Waynette relocated to the Olathe, KS area. Waynette was a devoted wife, mother and teacher to her three sons.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Coy.
Surviving are her husband, Archie, her sons Tyler
(Jessie) Weeks, Stuart Weeks, and Jared (Kimberly) Weeks, her grandchildren Hayden and Olivia, brothers Jeb Coy and Kevin Coy, her mother Illa Coy.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the North Chapel.
Services for Waynette will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
