Bill was born in Owensboro, Kentucky and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. He served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Bill was a food service manager for Dunkin Donuts and was a school teacher at Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School before retiring.
Bill enjoyed his time with his significant other, Virginia “Jenny” Ellen Manis, who passed away on December 16, 2014.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Thursday, July 9, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Bill will follow at 2 pm on Thursday at National Cemetery with the Vietnam Veterans Group 203 participating.
