William Lee Romans

Bill was a graduate of Brainerd High School and Auburn University. He was an outstanding athlete at both institutions and loved all things about Auburn. He was an avid outdoorsman and looked forward to his annual hunting trip to Wisconsin with good friends. He was employed for 35 years at Linde, LLC. Bill was devoted to his family, and he loved spending time with them. No matter were Bill was, no matter who Bill was with, he was unselfish and loyal and most recently showed all those around him how to be courageous in the face of adversity.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Lee Romans. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Jean "Jeannie"; daughter Priscilla Berarducci (Jon) of Nashville; son Cody; and mother, Elizabeth Romans of Mentone, Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family is grateful for the love and support of friends. Bill would be so pleased with your kind expressions of care.
