Carroll was a man of great integrity who was loved deeply by his family and friends. He always had kind words for others and always made me feel welcome as an extended family member. His humble nature and kindness made an impression on me as it did for so many others who were blessed to have known him.

Carroll was a good friend and a super guy. I graduated with him from Kirkman in 1961. He was a stalwart believer. I saw him recently at a funeral home when Pastor C. L. Harbin passed. He had someone take a photo of us with his phone...I wish I had asked him to send it to me! I had no idea he was this close to his home-going.
Sincere prayers and sympathy for his family!!

I worked with Carroll while he was in Fire Ops at SQN. I never saw him get upset or angry at things going on around him. I really considered him a kind and gentle human being. I saw him at Food City earlier this year and he told me he was ready to come back and help on the new Fire Detection system being installed. He will be missed!

I was secretary at TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant/Training Center for 30+ years and remember Carroll in my Maintenance Training group. I agree with Ben Lake's and Don Goodin's tributes. I remember his smile and his kindness toward me. His family is in my thoughts and prayers. --Sincerely, Carolyn

Carroll was a great friend in the neighborhood (Lakesite) and at work (Sequoyah Nuclear Plant). He was always willing to help me if I had electrical issues at the house that I could not fix. He replaced my main electrical connection to our house and diagnosed a couple of problems that I would not have known. Also, he always helped me in training classes at work. A kind person...a gentle giant in my book.
