Adela Gonzalez Garcia, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Adela was born July 30, 1935 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Maria Espetacion Rodriguez Paz and Leon Gonzalez.

Adela affectionately known as "Adelita", was a woman of faith. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Maria Hernandez and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Rafael Hernandez and Marisa Hernandez. Adela dearly loved all her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be missed by many family members and friends.

Adela is preceded in death by her parents Maria Espetacion Rodriguez Paz and Leon Gonzalez; husband, Carlos Garcia; all siblings, Benito Gonzalez, Candido Gonzalez, Alberta Gonzalez, Maria Consuelo Cantu, Maria Cruz Macias, Leonardo Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Leonor Gonzalez and Avelino Gonzalez.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Hernandez; son-in-law, Eusebio Hernandez, Jr.; and grandchildren, Rafael and Marisa Hernandez.

Serving as pallbearers are Eusebio Hernandez Jr., Rafael Hernandez, Henry Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez and Antonio Gonzalez.
