Mom was a housekeeper for 20 plus years and that was her favorite thing to do.Clean her home and help everyone else clean too.She was really welcoming and loved to help out.

She also loved to cook for others and host sleep overs.Mom was flashy and sassy,loved her makeup,hairspray and most of all loved to dance.She danced until her final days.Even while laying in bed.

Mom survived breast cancer in 1994 with the support of The Rose

Agency.She began her battle with Alzheimers in 2007.

We would like to thank the following agencies for their support over

the years ; The Rose,Alzheimers Association,New Dimensions and

those who stepped in to sit when needed.We would like to give a special thanks to Heritage Hospice and Avir Nursing Center for all

the attention and special care provided.

She was a loving Mom,good wife,special grandmother,caring sister and good friend. She supported us in everything and we will miss her love and presence.

She was preceded in death by her son Frank Rene Rios III and two brothers ; Alfred Rodiguez and Johnny Bacerra.She is survived by her children;George Lopez(Sylvia),Sylvia Rodriguez,Adrian Lopez and Elizabeth Rios.Grandchildren;Joseph Rodriguez(Erika),Erika Socorro,Bernie II,Ruby,Jerome and Mandy.Great grandchildren;

Mariah,Alexus and Cataleya.Her siblings;Joe Rodriguez

(Karen),Joel Rodriguez(Olga),Fernando Rodriguez(Margaret),

Rosario Ramirez(Felipe),Irma Torres,Mary Rodriguez and Lisa DeLa

Cruz.Her best friends;Nancy DeLa Rosa,Connie Medina and Virginia

Alexander.Extended family;Frank Rios,Madeline Mansen and Bernard Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, on May 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, on May 5, 2026, at 10:00 am with burial immediately following.
