Adelita Sanchez

Adelita Sanchez, 56, was called to heaven on Thursday, June 18, 2020. She was born on November 7, 1963 to Mateo and Margarita Frausto in Houston, Texas where she grew up with her parents and four siblings. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and treasured every moment with her children. Adelita was a loving sister and Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She attended M. B. Smiley High School and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Felix Sanchez, Jr., on December 23, 1989.

Adelita had a love for travel and trying new things. She loved new adventures and enjoyed the time she spent vacationing with her family in Puerto Rico, New York, and Florida. She befriended everyone she met and her home was always a gathering place open to family and friends. She loved taking pictures and treasured every memory she made. She had a lively personality and constantly made people around her smile and laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Sanchez, Jr. and sons Michael Anthony Sanchez and wife Ashley, Matthew Alexander Sanchez, and Felix Sanchez, III. Also, her mother, Margarita Frausto, and siblings Maria de los Angeles Vallejo and husband Mauricio, San Juanita Lopez and husband Ruben, Mateo Frausto, Jr. and fiancé Alma D. Corpus, and Anna Laura Soliz. She is preceded in death by her father, Mateo Frausto.

A visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Friday, June 26, 2020 in the chapel of Earthman Resthaven at 2:30 p.m. with the committal service immediately following at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
