

Agapo was born to Eleno and Margarita Gonzalez, August 18, 1935, in Higueras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was married to his late wife Tita for 54 years, and they lived together in Houston, Texas, where they raised their children (Lorena and Jr). He spent his life working hard for his family. He worked at Monterrey House where he learned many recipes and enjoyed making the same dishes for his family. In his free time, he always loved to work in his garden, watch telenovelas, do word search puzzles and loved spending time with his family.
Agapo is survived by his daughter Lorena Sauceda and husband Tony, son Agapito Gonzalez Jr and wife Karla, grandchildren Vanessa Sauceda, Xavier Sauceda, Jay Gonzalez, Vivonny Gonzalez, and Nazeiby Gonzalez. He also leaves to cherish his memories to his nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends. He preceded in death by his wife Tita; His parents Eleno and Margarita; and his siblings Maria Luisa, Jesus, Maria Elena, Simon, and Francisca.
The Family invites all family and friends to a celebration of life for Agapo. Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011. A committal will occur Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
