Albert “Al” Conrad Baroski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- and great-great grandfather passed away peacefully on December 9, 2013 at the age of 93, surrounded by loved ones. Al was born on February 9, 1920 in Bryan, Texas to Norbert Conrad Baroski and Josephina Koh Baroski. He was one of five children. The family moved to Houston and on November 30, 1939, he married his beautiful bride, Agnes Wenkhous, the love of his life and the mother of his ten children. Al and Agnes Baroski were married for 64 wonderful years until her death on August 7, 2004. His many hobbies included singing with barbershop quartets, fishing at Harmony Inn in Surfside Beach, Texas, golfing, and painting.
If Al could be summed up in one word, that word would be “joy”. Al was known by family and friends for his radiant smile and infectious laugh. He lived his life with integrity, faith, and love. His family was his whole life. One cannot imagine a kinder, happier, or more loving man. His life was God’s gift; how he lived his life was his gift to God.
