Alejandro Ivan Macias

With profound sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beautiful son, Alejandro Ivan Macias, who was born on March 9, 2026, and passed away on June 5, 2026, at just shy of 3 months old.

Alejandro spent his short life courageously fighting congenital heart defects. Though his time on earth was short, he touched the hearts of many of us who got the privilege of knowing and loving him. His tiny hands, beautiful face, and the love he brought into our lives will never be forgotten.

My husband and I sometimes can’t believe we created a baby so strong and absolutely perfect. He was God’s greatest gift to us, he has taught us more lessons combined than the couple decades we’ve spent on this Earth. He was a beautiful boy who found comfort in being held close, he absolutely loved his binky, and he loved people talking to him. Some of our most fond memories are of holding him in our arms, and seeing him sleep peacefully as if that was all he wanted.

While we grieve him and the future we envisioned with him, we find comfort in knowing that he knew nothing but love throughout his life and that he is no longer suffering. He will forever be our baby boy, our greatest blessing, and our most cherished memory.

Alejandro leaves behind a family who will carry his memory in their hearts every day. Though we did not have nearly enough time with him, the love he gave and the impact he made will last a lifetime. His physical absence will be remembered and felt every single day but his spirit will live with us forever. Until we meet again.

A service will be held in his memory at Forest Park Lawndale on 6/13/2026. Visitation will be at 12, a service will be held at 1, and
