Alf Grissett

Alf Grissett, born October 27, 1919 to Charles and Nancy Grissett in Iola, Texas, passed away September 25, 2010 in Houston. Mr. Grissett was preceded in death by his parents, ten siblings, and his son, Floyd Grissett. He is survived by sons, Curtis Grissett and wife, Barbara Grissett, and Broderick Grissett and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Angie and Jennifer Grissett, Dawn Greenfield, and Duane Grissett; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Andrews and Jennifer Kuna; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Kyle, and Kiersten Greenfield, and Preston and Sarah Grissett; step-great-grandchildren, Joshua and John Andrews, Lauren Martinez, and Madison and Morgan Kuna; sister, Doris Mobley, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
