Martha, family, and Mr. Q's family, I am devastated learning of this major loss to his family. I did not know Mr. Q, very well, but you only had to meet him once to not forget him. His humor, his smile, his laughter, and oh my goodness his BBQ.
My late husband, Garner, and I were privileged to meet Mr. Q on the day he was doing a BBQ at My Elia and My Mike's home.
To be with this family was always fun, a joy, and a lesson in being a family.
To all his family, friends, and those who were privileged to meet or know this man, please accept my late but very sincere condolences.



Thank you my husband, Fred for 24 wonderful years. God blessed our marriage  to be together through good and trying times. But our love was like no other.  Deep down, we knew there would always be me and you. You loved our children and grandchildren like your very own. I will always continue our love in our memories until we meet again. I will look out for our babies (like you called them) for you. Thank you to everyone who prayed and came to see you.  Love you and will miss you, Fred, forever,   your Bear, your wife,

I'm really going to miss the phone calls and meeting my cousin for breakfast or lunch.  Seeing the pictures brought back so many good memories of all the family functions, birthdays, and special times with both of you.  All we have left are memories.  My heart aches for you.  Remember, you have many friends who care for you. 

My Uncle Fred was one of 4 people that call me “Kristy Lea”, I can still here his voice right now.... I know he loved me like his own because he would make time to spend with me any time I would visit my grandma when I was little. He made sure that he danced with me on my wedding day after my Dad & Stepdad. He always use to show me his Pisces tattoo and would tell me one was him and one was me (we are both Pisces). I am so glad I was able to talk to him recently & I will miss him so much, but I know he is with my Grandparents & Aunt Nelda watching over us. I send all my love and keep my Aunt Martha and Family in my thoughts and Prayers. 

My dearest Niece and family, my  deepest condolences .  We are all praying for your family.   God will be there for you to help you through this journey.

Very special memories of my cousin Fred, when we were kids growing up surrounded by family. I'm so glad I made the trip to see you in August 2018. May you now rest in peace with God and all the angels and saints.

He was a loving stepfather who would go out of his way to make sure you had everything you needed.   He would drop what he was doing to give a helping hand even if it meant overcooking his delicious BBQ.   We shared the love of Houston sports and enjoyed watching games together.  He saw his family as his family and not just people who he married into.  I love you Fred and you will be greatly missed!!

Martha, I am so sorry for the passing of your husband Fred.  The pain  will feel crippling but just know that our Heavenly Father will carry you & give you strength through all of this as well as care for Fred now.
