Alice Navarro Torres

Alice died on July 11, 2026 of pulmonary hypertension and leukemia.

She is survived by her Brother John N. Torres, her nieces Nancy Vitt and Anna Kristina Torres and their daughters respectfully Amri & Birkli Vitt and Sadie & Eliana Banda.

Alice attended Annunciation Catholic School and Incarnate Word Academy.

She achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Houston.

Alice was very active at our Church, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, in concert with our mother, Dolores N. Torres.

Alice N. Torres was a “suffering soul”. Her life was plagued by numerous health maladies. However, in spite of her continuous suffering, she was joyful in the spirit of God.

Services for Alice will be:

Rosary: 7:00 pm at Forest Park Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on July 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3011 Telephone Rd, Houston, TX 77023, US, on July 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on July 21, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
