Alma Lee Pelczar, born March 6, 1935 to Thorne and Elma Harding in Houston, Texas, passed away May 24, 2010 in Houston. Mrs. Pelczar is survived by her beloved husband of more than 56 years, Jerry R. Pelczar; daughters, Linda Unger and husband, Dave, Nancy Bleeker and husband, Ronnie, and Janet Kountakis and husband, Pete; grandchildren, Andy and Shelby Morris, Travis Bleeker and wife, Cassie, and Kyle, Wade, and Brooke Bleeker, Sophia and Katerina Kountakis, and other family and friends. Alma loved her family, her flower garden, traveling, and country music.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. A private interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
