Pinky is survived by her husband, Gilbert Cantu, son, John Capelo (Alice) of Westhoff, daughter, Maria Jaso, of Austin, and sister, Lucia Martinez (Santos), of Houston. She has eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews that she cherished.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Gilbert Cantu Jr., brothers, Emiliano Lopez, Billy Joe Lopez, Raymond Lopez, and sister, Erline Reyes.
A rosary will be recited on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 9:30am, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church located at 3011 Telephone Rd. She will be interred at Forest Park Cemetery on Lawndale at 2pm.
Due to the current rise of the COVID pandemic, no refreshments will be served. Masks and social distancing will be required.
