

Ana G. Weaver, 81 years young of Houston, Texas went to be with His Lord on October 10, 2015 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on June 17, 1934 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Jose Antonio and Ana Virginia Gilormini. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico where she was Queen of her Sorority and the top volleyball player of the University of Puerto Rico. She married Walter H. Weaver on August 10, 1956 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in 1959 they moved to Texas. Ana loved talking with friends and family, she enjoyed having friends over to play tennis, having lunch and chatting. Her children were her top priority; she drove them to all their sports events, dancing classes, cheer leading and much more. Ana worked 25 years for the S.I.S.D. Tax Office where she quickly became great friends with her coworkers as they continued to be a large support system throughout her life. Ana was a breast cancer survivor and was involved with the Susan G. Komen foundation as a volunteer. She was a member of the NWWC where she enjoyed and had great times being with all the ladies. In the last few years of Ana’s life, she and Walter went to church several times a week, attended Zumba classes, went grocery shopping, attended every activity together and loved watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Her husband, Walter, their four children, James, Leslie, Annette, Vanessa and their foster daughter Esther along with their husbands, survives Ana. Her six grandchildren Taylor, Grace, Scout, Sophia, Knox and Vaughn adored their "Beeba" as she was very loving, caring and giving to each of them. She loved her grandchildren as much as she loved life itself. Mass will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, 11:00 am at Christ The Good Shepherd, 18511 Klein Church Road, Spring, Texas 77379. Celebration will be held afterwards at Shirley Acres, 217 Woerner Road, Houston, Texas 77090.
