On a cold winter day, Andre LeShun Avington, also known as "Dre" was born Thanksgiving day November 26,1981 in Pasadena Texas. Edward A. and Rosie M. Avington were exceptionally happy to have received such a blessing from God. As Parents they felt and obligation to raise Andre up in a Christian home, as they themselves had been raised in.
Andre was Baptized at an early age at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Sunday school, and participated in church programs getting him ready for the Christian way of life.
In Jr. High School Andre was a member of the ROTC. He Graduated from Northshore High School in 2000. Afterwards he attended San Jacinto College.
Andre was known to be a quiet young man. His life was one of showing love in ways that only he could. He will truly be missed, and forever in our hearts.
Andre leaves to cherish his memory his parents Edward and Rosie Avington. His Brother Chief Master Sergeant Jamaal Avington (Danielle Avington). His Nephew Braden Avington an upcoming Junior at UT San Antonio. He also leaves behind a Jewel his 100 year old Grandmother, Mrs Viola Avington. He will be remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
