Our mom, Andrea was a kind and generous woman. She was always there for everyone whether it was teaching the neighborhood kids how to read in English or supporting the school’s PTA. The community knew that they could depend on her, and count on her for support. Some of her greatest passions included volunteering her time and talents at church, the VFW, the Moose Lodge and many years with the PTA. She was so proud of her children. Mom had the wisdom and foresight to see that we were able to take advantage of the opportunities available to us. She could take charge and make things happen when need be, yet we were allowed the decision of which path was best for us. Mom was the driving force behind the success of our academics, music lessons, sports and even motorcycles. Most of all, she loved our dad. He was her everything and when he passed, he took her heart with him. Her only greater love was our Lord, Jesus Christ, whom she worshipped and served until the day she passed. Our mom along with our dad leaves a legacy of love, kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed. We love you mom. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to Love 146.org in memory of Andrea Gonzales.
