Angel Maldonado Gomez

Ángel Maldonado Gomez (1966-2025) passed away on July 19, 2025, in Pasadena, California. He was born on June 4, 1966, to Berta Gomez and Francisco Maldonado in La Palma, Michoacán, México, and grew up in Huetamo.

Ángel pursued his dreams in the United States of providing opportunity and a better future for himself and his family. His hard work and dedication made him excel in his career in transportation for 30 years.

He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Ángel was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and words of encouragement. He shared his wisdom with others and was always there to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. Ángel loved camping, hiking, running, and just simply communing with nature. He loved gardening, going to the beach, grilling outdoors, and spending time with his loved ones.

Ángel is survived by his daughters (Jennifer and Catherine), his mother (Berta), and his loving siblings. He will be fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Maldonado.

A private funeral service will be held to honor the life of Ángel. Ángel’s love, kindness, and charitable spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
