

Francisco Ramirez and Maria Hernandez on December 2, 1932 in Brownsville, TX. Angie was
only able to complete schooling until the 6th grade, as she had to assist at home in helping to raise
her siblings: Maria Ramirez, Tony Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, Susie Moore, Nerie Calderon, Janie Ramirez, Petra Ramirez, Rogelio Ramirez and is survived by Guadalupe Medrano of Fresno, CA. Angelita, married Senobio R. Gaspar with whom together they raised 4 daughters - Graciela Cardenas (deceased), and is survived by: Yolanda Cardenas, Irma Cardenas, Sylvia Cardenas, Pete Pereida and Cynthia Lee Gaspar. Angie also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, various nieces and nephews within the Texas and California region.
Angie worked as housekeeper for many years and was a second mother to other children as she
worked meticulously as a housekeeper/nanny for various private affluent homes. Her most
memorable jobs included labor intense jobs such as picking tomatoes, grapes and cotton as she
was growing up. Her hobbies within the last few years included sewing and gardening –
making sure that lawn was done just right and preparing for this day.
She is preceded in death by her husband Senobio R. Gaspar whom she loved very much and her daughter Gracie Cardenas. A public viewing will begin Tuesday, May 25 at 5pm at Forest Park Lawndale. A mass will be held by her nephew Father Juan Gaspar on Wednesday, May 26 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary located at 7539 Ave K followed by internment at Forest Park Lawndale. A private reception will follow at the home of Angie Gaspar located at 8601 Leander Street. The family wishes to thank all friends and family that were able to attend despite restrictions and weather.
