Ann White Bates, born May 31, 1937, in New Waverly, Texas, passed away on May 8, 2015, in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Morris and Sarah White; son, Gary Keith Bates; daughter, Michelle Bates; sisters, Betty Cook and Dorothy Shelly; brother, Clifford White.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Roland Bates; son, David Bates; daughter, DeeAnn Bates; granddaughter, Chelsea Marie Bates; grandson, Ernest Ray Herrera; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Herrera, Emalee Herrera and Ernest Ray Herrera Jr.; brother, Morris Edward White, Terry Wayne White; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5pm-9pm, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10am, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, followed by burial at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
