Anna Isabel Tomasello

July 6, 1932August 15, 2020

Anna Isabel Tomasello, of Houston Texas, was called home to our lord on Saturday August 15, 2020. Born July 6, 1932 in Newark NJ, Anna was the youngest of 6 siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Santino and Louise Pesci, brothers Angelo, John, Louis and sisters Marie and Rose.

Anna married Vito Donato Tomasello in May 1955 and after 15 years of family life in NJ, they were relocated to Houston TX with Shell Oil in August 1970. In the spring of 1972 Anna lost her beloved husband Vito but made the decision to stay in Texas to raise her two children as a single parent.

Known as “Noni”, Anna is survived by her two loving children, son Gennaro Frank Tomasello and wife Brenda, daughter Donna Marie Reiff and husband Clint. Anna is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Donato Tomasello, Alyson Rene Ferrante, Kimberly Anne Kelly, and Katherine Grace Reiff, great grandchildren, Luca Donato Tomasello and Emma Grace Ferrante along with numerous nieces and nephews…all of whom added great joy to her life.

Although as hard as it is to lose a love one, we are all at peace knowing “Noni” is home with the Lord, her loving husband, her mother and father and her brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Child Advocates of Fort Bend in honor of Anna Isabel Tomasello at 503 Avenue N, Rosenberg, TX 77471

As a child Anna was my second mom. When she smiled you knew everything would be fine. She shared major events in my life good and bad. I will cherish the memories and pictures I have of her. To Donna, Jerry and your families I can not feel your pain but I do feel your loss.
Prayers and love,

We met this wonderful lady from New Jersey when Donna and my daughter, Kelley were tennis partners in high school in the 1980s.
I'll always remember her as a devoted mother who bravely raised her beloved children. Her positive attitude was inspirational.
We regarded her as family and will miss her very much.

Condolences to your family; she has obviously left a very strong legacy of the importance of 'family' and integrity through her time and sacrifices while here.

Donna, Jerry & families,

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Anna was such a warm and loving person, always making you feel welcomed and comfortable. She also was one of the hardest working, strongest women I have had the honor to know. She will be missed dearly ❤️

Love & Prayers,
Terrie Johnson Heidemann
