Annie Mae Jacobs

Annie Mae Jacobs, daughter of Eddie and Winfree Riley was born June 15, 1924 in Franklin, Texas. Annie moved to Houston in her late teenage years. She professed her strong faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member at Fourth Missionary Baptist Church.   Annie was a hardworking, dedicated employee at Southwest Memorial Herman Hospital, where she later retired at the age of 65. She also was a praying, strong willed, loving mother and grandmother. She was lived by many. Annie enjoyed cooking, baking, playing board games with her grandchildren and fishing especially with her grandson in law Kevin.   She peacefully departed March 30, 2018 at the age of 93.   She is preceded in death by her (Husbands) LaSalle Harrison Sr, Mack Jacobs (father) Eddie Riley (mother) Winfree Riley (Brothers) Alfred, George, Eddie Lee, Homer, Eugene, Syria (sisters) Ida Mae, Mable (Daughter) Barbara (Grandchildren) Anitra, Jason, Tramonica(Kiki) and (great-grandson ) Jared.   Her long beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her (only surviving sibling) Nelson Riley, her (children) Gloria , LaSalle Jr, Robert, LaVerne and Mary Francis. Her (grandchildren) Cassandra(Denise), Tracy(Kevin), Michelle(Forest), Micheal(Marcie), Shauntel(Mark), Renika(Nate), Robin, Chris(Kisha), 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, one close cousin Sara Lee Calvert and one (Godson) LeDon. Also a host of loving and devoted nieces and nephews.
