Antonia S. Chavez, 80, passed away on August 25, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Antoia was born to Pedro and Rosa Saavedra on September 19, 1931. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Rafael A. Chavez. Antonia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Rafael B. Chavez; sister, Catalina Cortez and daughters; Belinda, Susan, Regina and Patricia.
Visitation will be on Monday,August 27th from 5-8 PM with a rosary at 7PM in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Tuesday, August, 28th at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 9217 E. Ave L, Houston, TX. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
