I had the pleasure of knowing Tony for a few short years. Our friendship began when he needed a ride to the grocery store. I was recently retired and his daughter in law Alma gave him my number. Tony always had a friendly greeting and smile when I picked him up. He told me stories of when he grew up in Pasadena, worked at a downtown Hotel and then his long career at the railroad. He was a good man. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to Gloria, she will miss her prieto... His favorite song... nomas un puño de tierra... Rest in Peace my friend.
