Antonio Guadalupe Garza

Antonio Guadalupe Garza He passed away on Sunday , February 21,2021 surrounded by family. He was born to Juan Garza and Consuelo Salazar August 16, 1949, in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He grew up with his siblings Regina Garza, Santos Garza Araiza, David Garza Araiza, Juan Hector Garza, Zelica Castillo, Javier Garza, Rose I Cepeda, and Regina Alfaro.

He moved to Houston Texas at the age of 14. He often visit the ranch where he grew up throughout the years. When he was young he was a boxer, he enjoyed it and as he got older he moved that love to fixing a muscle car. That car was always in the drive way.

He was married in 1971 to Josefa Garcia, they had one daughter, Regina. Their marriage ended in 1974. He later married Raquel Rosas Mejia, they had 4 children Virginia, Karina, Tony, and Maricella.

I would also like to give a big thank you to Clara Giron , who was his last partner for the last 20 years, she was there taking care, helping, and loving him throughout these years. She was there till his last breath.

He worked as a welder for the majority of his life, and before retiring he worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

He is survived by his children: Regina Garza Humes of North pole, Alaska; Raquel Virginia Perez of Houston, TX, Karina Vivana Garza of Houston, TX, Antonio Guadalupe Garza of Houston, TX, and Maricella Vanessa Garza of Houston, TX grandchildren; Jose, Nicolas, Gabriella, Martin Antonio, Miguel Angel, Mateo’, Caleb, Jasmine, Jorge, Kystoni, Marylou, Mia, Hailey-Rae, Genevieve.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Consuelo Salazar, his father Juan Garza, and siblings Regina, Santos, and David.
