Armand Treviño

Armand Trevino, age 70, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Armand was born August 1, 1950 to Isidrio and Ruth Trevino at their home on Ranch St in Houston, Tx. He was the fifth born in his family. His brothers and sisters Gilbert, Bobby, Linda and David. He attended HISD schools and graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1969. He married Mary Lois Cortez on December 13, 1969, soon after his oldest Christopher John was born on March 11, 1970. They settled in the southeast Houston neighborhood of Magnolia. Three years later his youngest son Michael Armand was born December 3,1973.

Armand started his career in the transportation Industry working for Central Freight Lines then SeaLand, P&O Nedloyd and Maersk. He spent a total of 43 years serving the transportation industry.

He is survived by wife Mary Lois, His sons Christopher John (Laura) and Michael Armand (Tammie), Brothers Gilbert, Robert (Elaine) and Jimmy (Jami). Sisters Linda Davila (Balthazar), Suzanna Gonzalez (Valde) , Lena(Enrique). His Grandchildren Brandon Knight, Samantha, Alexandria, Nicholas, Thomas, Sydney, Andrew, Jacob (Michelle), Michael, Mathew. His Great Grandchildren Ethan Alvarez, Ayden Cazares, Eric Alvarez, Emily Salazar, Isabella Salazar, Christian Alvarez, Ezekiel, Mateo Pruneda, Charles, Lucas with countless nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by by his parents Isidrio and Ruth Trevino, His brother David Trevino and his great grandson Abel Armand Cazares.

Armand has gone to heaven he will be missed, but not forgotten. The family he created will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Armand will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023. A rosary will occur Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, Texas 77023. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery. A reception will occur following committal service, Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at American Legion Harrisburg Post 472, 7599 Avenue C, Houston, TX 77012.
