Armando Rivera

Our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and friend, Armando Rivera, was born on December 18, 1956 in Houston, Texas and was lifted into heaven on November 10, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Guadalupe Rivera and brother Raul Rivera. He is survived by his wife Virginia Rivera, 4 children: Jessica Cañas, Amanda Camarillo, Vicky Rivera, Alexandra Rivera, and 2 grandchildren: Stephanie Beltran and Armando Cruz. He is lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings: Ruben Rivera, Oralia Arias, Francisco Rivera Jr., Maria Gonzales, and Sylvia Zepeda. He had a passion for all sports and spending time with his family, friends and grandson. He loved his job as a server at Damian’s Cucina Italiana, a position he held for the past 33 years, and enjoyed providing customers with the greatest dining experience. There will never be another friend, husband, brother, father, grandfather and server like Armando Rivera. We love you Armando and will never forget you.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday November 15, 2016 with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held November 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. both services will at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street Houston, Texas 77023. Procession to burial site will begin around 12:15 to Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road Houston, Texas 77077.
