Arnulfo Amaya

The world knew him as "AMAYA", a name that will always carry the highest respect. The family called him Papa our beloved father and grandfather! He loved to do garden work, he spent his time planting rose bushes and different types of plants around the house. He always said where there are flowers, there is love and with that everything he planted beautifully bloomed. He loved trucks, a proud Chevy owner. Some of his simple pleasures were morning breakfast at Ihop or McDonalds and lunch at Golden seafood.

He loved to tell riddles and jokes to make us laugh, it was the cutest site to watch him giggle. His presence will remain with us as we will always carry his memory in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife Juana Amaya and 8 children, Lety, Lucy, Chacho, Juana, Gricelda, Francisco, Georgina and Janet, 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son Jose Manuel Amaya

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00am, Friday, July 31, 2020 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with a visitation from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 4:00pm. Burial will be at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Adonis Amaya, Julio Carrion, Christian Amaya, Eric Amaya, Billy Desmond, Johnathan Amaya, Francisco Amaya and Robert Segura.

El mundo lo conocía como “AMAYA”, un nombre que siempre llevara el mas alto respeto. La familia lo llamó Papá nuestro amado padre y abuelo!

Le encantaba hacer trabajos de jardinería, pasaba su tiempo plantando rosales y diferentes tipos de plantas alrededor de la casa. Siempre decía donde hay flores, hay amor y con eso todo lo que plantó floreó maravillosamente. Le encantaban las camionetas, un orgulloso dueño de Chevy. Algunos de sus placeres simples fueron el desayuno de la mañana en Ihop o McDonalds y comidas en Golden seafood. Le encantaba contar acertijos y chistes para hacernos reír, era el sitio más lindo para verlo reír. Su presencia permanecerá con nosotros como siempre llevaremos su memoria en nuestros corazones.
