Arthur J. Guillory

Arthur James Guillory Jr. age 57 went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2011. He was born to the late Arthur Lee Guillory Sr. and Rose Mary Guillory on February 22, 1954 in Welsh Louisiana. He was the third child and oldest son of thirteen children.

Years later the Guillory family moved to Houston, TX where Arthur graduated from Jefferson Davis High School and were he met and later married Linda Faye Benjamin. From this union came forth Christopher James Guillory Sr. and Deetra Sherryl Guillory Seriki.

Many years later, Arthur proceeded into another relationship and from that came twins Stacey Marie Guillory and Marcus DeWayne Guillory.

Arthur enjoyed participating in the annual trail rides and had a passion for horses. His life was spent working many days and hours at Baker Hughes were he formed a lifelong friendship, bond and brotherhood with his co-workers.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, sisters Sheila Guillory, Wanda Price, Erma Jean Jackson, brother-in-law Kim Simon, and nephew Larry “Bud” Guillory.

He is survived by his wife Linda, 4 children Chris (wife Gloria), Deetra (husband Hakeem), Stacey, and Marcus, his grandchildren Janelle, Treylin, CJ, Samaya, and Xavier. His sisters Jackie, Karen, Charlotte, Cheryl, brothers Richard, David, Earl, Robert, and Joseph, along with a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives and friends.
