Arturo S Sanchez

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arturo Sanchez, on Wednesday June 13, 2019 at Regency Village in Webster, Texas at the age of 88.

He left his earthly home to join his beloved wife Adela M. Sanchez and his only precious grandson Michael Jesse Reyes in the early morning of Wednesday June 13, 2019. His daughter M. Connie Reyes was by his side as he made his transition to Heaven.

Born June 05, 1931 (he always said he was actually born in 1930), in his native Matatenas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He immigrated to the USA in the early 1950s. He and Adela raised their only child in South Houston, Texas.

Left to cherish his unforgettable memory, daughter M. Connie Reyes, granddaughter Jessica M. Reyes Liske, Michael J. Liske, and his loving great-grandchildren Xavier Santiago, Adela Leocadia, and Michael Augustin Liske, extended family members including, Evita, Mariano, Oziel, and the Garcia family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evaristo and Librada Sanchez, his beautiful wife Adela, and his only precious grandson Michael Jesse Reyes. Also preceding him were all his brothers and sisters, and numerous in-laws.

Arturo was a believer in hard work, his love for Jesus Christ, helping every one he could, and was extremely proud of immigrating to the United States of America where he believed provided him a wonderful life.

Connie and Jessica wish to thank all the staff at Regency Village, Webster who took such great care of him for the last two years of his life. All the staff provided exceptional, dignified, and loving care to Popo.

Visitation and viewing will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 beginning at 3pm at Forest Park Lawndale.
