Ashley Morgan Furtado, left this world unexpectedly, at 28, on November 30, 2019. Born in Houston, Texas, on January 22, 1991 to Arturo Martinez and Maria Ruiz. Ashley grew up very close to her family. She was a beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. The title she loved the most was being a mother. It was one of the best things that could have ever happened to her.
Ashley loved and adored her children; they were her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her children’s faces, pure joy radiated from her and would leave a smile on your face. Ashley wanted nothing more for them, than to live a wonderful life.
Ashley was a lover of anything involving dance and music. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and loved getting the family together for gatherings. She was a lover of animals and had recently got into raising chickens with her husband, which they both bonded over. She was funny, outgoing, and vivacious, she also stood firm in what she believed in. She always made sure she had your back because that’s just who Ashley was. She had the kindest heart and made sure to remind you how much she cared about you. Her high moral standards and traditional values served Ashley well with her faith, which was very important in her life.
When you think of Ashley, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest, as she made sure every day that she did. We will always remember her infectious smile, long beautiful hair and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
