He is survived by his wife Kelley, his fur babies Reese and Archie, mother Judy LaFargue, father Aubrey LaFargue Jr. (Carolyn), sisters Julie (Larry) Giles, Lisa (Richard) Eason, and Aubra LaFargue (Jeff Butler), niece Lauren Rose, and nephews and collaborators in mischief Christian, Jacob, Michael, and Andrew, uncle David LaFargue (Deanna), aunt Theresa Fowler, cousins Russell LaFargue (Brittany) and Grant, Clay, and Asher, Wendy Butler (David) and Jackson, and a multitude of friends and extended family.
His childhood was filled with animal rescue, ditch exploration, climbing, hunting, fishing, and boyish shenanigans that kept his family in constant wonder of what would come next. Trey’s creativity, humor, and the ability to tell a story captivated everyone who knew him. He met the love of his life in high school and for the next three decades they would share their life’s journey together. He loved music, cooking, and creating unique art. His participation over 18 years with the Montrose Beer and Gun Club annual cook-off to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation was dear to his heart.
