AUGUST WAS BORN IN SEALY, TEXAS, ON AUGUST 28, 1918. HE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS LOVING WIFE OF 51 YEARS, ANN LILLIAN (SULAK) TROJANOWSKY, SON JERRY MICHAEL TROJANOWSKY, SISTER AND BROTHER-IN-LAW, MARY AND FELIX STOREMSKI, AND PARENTS BEN AND ALBINA TROJANOWSKY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS CHILDREN, PATRICK (CASSIE), DAVID (CARLA), CAROLE (ALAN), and MARSHA, GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN CHARLIE, CHRIS (STEPHANIE), GENA (DAVID), MATTHEW, NATALIE (SHANE) MICHELLE (RICHARD), DUSTIN, PAYTON, LANE, KYLE, NEYA, OLIVIA, MATTHEW, JR., PAIGE LILLIAN, DAVID, JR. AND RICHARD, JR.
AT AN EARLY AGE, AUGUST FOUND HIMSELF PROVIDING FOR HIS FAMILY, WORKING ON HIS PARENTS FARM. AS WORLD WAR II BEGAN, AUGUST ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY AIR CORP, AS A FIGHTER PLANE TECHNICIAN. AFTER RECEIVING HIS HONORABLE DISCHARGE, HE FOUND EMPLOYMENT IN HOUSTON WITH THE HOUSTON LIGHTING AND POWER COMPANY (NOW CENTERPOINT ENERGY), SURVEYING WITH THE CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. AUGUST WAS HONORED MANY TIMES FOR HIS EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE AND WORK ETHIC DURING HIS 40 YEARS OF SERVICE BEFORE HE RETIRED IN 1982.
AUGUST WAS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND AS THE COMMUNITY CONTINUED TO GROW, BECAME A FOUNDING MEMBER OF ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CATHOLIC CHURCH. IN ADDITION, AUGUST WAS AN HONORARY LIFE MEMBER OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS (2917), THE HOLY NAME SOCIETY AND THE CATHOLIC SOCIETY OF KJT.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON TUESDAY, MAY 21st FROM 5:00 PM TO 8:00 PM AT EARTHMAN RESTHAVEN, 13102 NORTH FREEWAY (I-45 NORTH), WITH A ROSARY RECITED AT 7:00 PM.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 22nd, AT ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CATHOLIC CHURCH, 501 TIDWELL, WITH RITE OF COMMITTAL TO FOLLOW AT GARDEN OF GETHSEMANI, FOREST PARK LAWNDALE CEMETERY.
HONORED TO SERVE AS PALLBEARERS ARE CHARLIE TROJANOWSKY, CHRIS TROJANOWSKY, LANE TROJANOWSKY, KYLE TROJANOWSKY, MATT PRYOR, SHANE OWEN, RICHARD LaVAN AND GARY STOREMSKI.
