Avery P. Primeaux

Avery P. Primeaux, age 81 went to be with our Lord and Savior, Tuesday, May 14, 2013. As a retired welder, he enjoyed wrestling, nascar, cajun music and good home cooked cajun meals but most of all, his family who he leaves behind to cherish his memories.

Avery was preceded in death by his Wife of 59 years: Wanda, Grandson: Christopher Klodzinski, Parents: Alcide and Meliza Primeaux, Daughter-in-Law: Arlene Primeaux, 8 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Avery is survived by Children: Robert Primeaux (Mary), Rita Forester (Bubba), Peggy Bocanegra, Diana Marceaux (Woodrow), Mary McBride (Jerry), David Primeaux, Darla Primeaux and Alice Shaw (Gary); 19 Grandchildren; 34 Great-Grandchildren. Sister: Edia Primeaux, and Brother: Linson Primeaux also numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with rite of commital st Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons: Kenneth Primeaux, John Klodzinski, Aaron Bocanegra, Brad Breaud, Michael Primeaux, Bradley Neiswander and Great Grandchildren: Gaige Broussard and Gavin Holloway and honorary pallbearers will be grandsons: Damon Marceaux, Wesley Primeaux, Nelson Primeaux, and Nelson Marceaux.
