It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, Aunt and friend, Ayse—her name meaning “She Who Lived” in Turkish, a reflection of the way she embraced life with unmatched spirit and joy.
Ayse was blessed with so many wonderful friends, family, and co-workers who loved her, laughed with her, and appreciated her beautiful spirit. Her back patio was her haven, a place where friends gathered year-round to share conversations, joy, and her irresistible zest for living.
She graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry in 1995. She was a die-hard Aggies fan and hopes they win the championship this year for football. She never missed watching a game for her favorite Aggies, Texans or Astros.
Speaking of Astros, she was a devoted “fur mama” to her cherished cats, Pippa and Astro, who brought her constant comfort and companionship.
Those who knew her also knew her talent for bringing people together—especially at her unforgettable New Year’s Day Pajama Party, a yearly tradition filled with food, laughter, fun, and games.
She truly loved life to the fullest. Fiercely patriotic and always ready for adventure, she traveled far and wide.
Ayse, you will never be forgotten. Thank you for teaching us to speak our minds, follow our hearts, and live life boldly. Your spirit will continue to inspire us always.
For those asking about services — we all know she loved a party. We’ll be having a celebration of life in the new year to honor her in true Ayse style.
