Barbara Ann Allison, 71, passed away on December 12th, 2018. Barbara was born on September 6th, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to Tom Edward Hillegeist and Mildred Elois Hillegeist. She grew up in the Spring area with her older brother Wayne Hillegeist and younger sister Joyce Huckabay. On January 9th, 1966, she married the love of her life, Everett Max “Bud” Allison, and they would be married for 52 years.
Barbara loved to collect all sorts of things: salt and pepper shakers, thimbles, figurines, and lots of other knick-knacks and whatnots. She was always a kid at heart, and had a child’s curiosity. She also always loved nature. She loved to watch the birds that would come and eat seed in her backyard, and loved her parakeet Tweety.
Barbara also loved to shop. Family members often used to joke she could go in a store when the sun was out and not come out until the sun was down.
Barbara is preceeded in death by her husband, Everett Max “Bud” Allison, her mother Mildred Elois Hillegeist, her brother Wayne Hillegeist, and her father Tom Edward Hillegeist.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Huckabay, her daughters, Deborah Hayes and Rhonda Hijazi and her husband, Jamal; grandchildren Chad Hayes, Brittany Crawford, Christopher Hipp, Lena Hijazi, Adam Hijazi, and Salim Hijazi, and great-grandchildren Evelyn Hijazi, Natasha Hijazi, Ethan Hijazi, and Jaxon Hijazi.
A private graveside service will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery on Monday, December 17th, 2018.
