

Barbara was born on August 13, 1935, in Houston, Texas. She spent her childhood growing up in the Houston's Heights neighborhood, where she formed many cherished memories and lifelong friendships. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1953. She worked at Texas Commerce Bank which became Chase Bank for 45 plus years. Many years after graduation while bowling she met the love of her life Max Felchak and was married on Jan 11, 1966. Throughout her life, Barbara was known for her kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family. She found her greatest joy in being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Barbara's family was the center of her life. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Karen Cacciotti, and son-in-law, Robert. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Christy Reed and her husband, Chad; Brett Johnson and his wife, Ashley; Austin Johnson; Nichole Cooley and her husband, Dustin; Cayden Cacciotti and his wife, Sam; and Hayley LaBouve and her husband, Caden. Barbara was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Leitha Burns, and her beloved husband Max Felchak, sisters Elouise Seifert and Bobbie Schmidt, stepson Jerry Felchak, and Great Granddaughter Remi Cooley.
Barbara will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm heart, and unconditional love. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel welcome and cared for. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her compassion and generosity.
Although Barbara's physical presence is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family invites all who knew Barbara to remember her with love, share stories of her life, and celebrate the many blessings she brought to those around her.
